A few of us have viewed the site which has been offered to us on loan privately for use as a Community Garden. It looks interesting- around 1/4 acre to the side of the grass easement off of Charlotte Ave, Bongaree. Go up the easement at the side of the brick house with the blue tiled roof and it's the large triangular shaped unmown area to the right.
As it is a vacant block, issues arise with need for storeage, water and power as well as ease of vehicular access and toileting facilities. Also how long we would be able to 'lease' it for and whether we would have to pay the rates fees, etc.
Something to bear in mind, tho...
